To choose or not to choose? That is the question.

Ray #5. So do I have the power to choose what way I am being in any situation? Can I always choose to be friendly, angry, loyal, calm, or any other way of being? Yes, I think I can. Though it may not seem to be possible always. Or even desirable. But very often,  I'm convinced we have a say over our being. It is common to get angry when someone is yelling at you. But it is possible to be calm under those circumstances as well. It is common to be irritated when someone is bossing me around. But I can also be clear about what I need to do and tell the other one to go take a hike with a smile on my face. It is common to be cranky after a broken night, But one can get himself together, take a deep breath and be friendly to a customer. These are day to day situations, especially at work, where we know we can choose who we are, who and what we are being. Up to a certain level? Who knows? It gets harder at home..... With a partner who always leaves his shoes l...

I am what I am.

Ray 4#. I am what I am? Do Human Beings really have a say in who they are being? Or does our being arise from some unknown well? It is your fault that I am angry! He makes me sad. I can`t help it, it is just the way I am . They make me do this!  I am irritated because of them. We all know phrases like this, don`t we? We know that they aren`t really true too.  We say others are responsable for the way we are being.  We give away the responsability over our being.  And by doing so we give away the power over our being. These outcries however do illustrate how common and accepted it is to give away the power over our being as well. I think one only get angry if one believes that the nasty word that is thrown at you is true. I believe somebody only gets sad if he/she decides to believe the painful words the other one utters.  Or that it reflects an inner story to be distinguished. Even if you lose something or someone dear in you life, you can choose h...

I am because you are.

Ray 3#. I am because you are. I am being a certain way of being, because you are here. Your presence elicits my being. Human beings are social beings. They do not thrive well in isolation. Being alone at home, listening to music, watching a movie,  playing with a dog, we can be afraid, happy, sad or angry . But our being arises mostly with people. Alone, we are being nothing. Not because we are nothing. Just because we are alone. There is no one who calls us into being. I think we all know a situation in which we feel grumpy.  Then a good friend comes by and suddenly we feel cheerful.  Or the other way around:  We are at peace and the nasty neighbour barges in without knocking at the door..... What way of being will arise from that occasion? What possibilty of my being will be unveiled by your presence today? Will I be glad? Patient? Bored? Excited? Helpful? Irritated? And will it merely pop up? Or do I have a say in the ma...

The uniqueness of human beings

Ray 2#. The uniqueness of Human Beings. And the freedom of choice. Human Beings.  That is what we are. Human Beings. And isn`t that unique? Creatures, always being something. Happy, sad, determined, cheerful, irritated, determined... The list ist endless. Animals, like lions, are beings too. But we don`t say: lion being or animal being. That is because a lion doesn't choose or invent his being.  Humans can and do. Although they are not always aware of the possibility of choice. A lion doesn't choose to be patient, compassionate, friendly or joyful. A lion being aggressive?  Yes.  And being tender as well, with the cubs. And there are a few more possibilities of being. These beings come naturally, instinctively and are not a result of choice. Back to Human Being: `Being` comes from 'to be'. And `to be`is the verb of creation. It is used in the bible: `Let there be Light`! Stating something can create it. It is the same with our being.  A few come naturall...

To be or not to be?

Ray #1.  What is the `Being` in Human Being about? `To be or not to be?` Was that really a question? Or is the question rather: `What to be?` or 'Who to be?' Is our `being` a choice?  Or is the way we are something that overcomes us? If it overcomes us we can only surrender. I suggest  that our `human being` is a choice..... If you could choose: Who (or what) would you be today? The possibilities of our `human being` are limitless. Being free, being sad, being grumpy, being mad? Being kind, being patient, being rude, being easy of mind? If our human being would be a choice, it would be up to you. And there is no blaming the circumstances. There`s just you being responsable for your being. As long as you acknowledge that it is you who chooses the way you`re being. Let there be light on our being as from today 💕 #Hans4aworldthatworks #Transformation #Anewreality Background information about 'human being': https://peteranthon...
