The animal inside us, the origin of our being.
Ray 6#. The animal inside us, the origin of our Being.
Do we always need to have a say over our being?
Do we always have to be stronger than an animal and be in control of our being?
Is reacting to what happens in an instinctive way, like animals do, wrong?
Of course Not.
Our origin is nature.
So, when do we let nature dictate our being?
And when do we choose, invent or create a being ourselves?

NO!
Of course Not.
Our origin is nature.
Our origin is survival.
Our origin is like an animal.
Our origin is like an animal.
It is our instinct.
We eat when we are hungry
We drink when we are thirsty.
We sleep when we are tired.
We get angry when we feel a threat or when something is taken from us,
We eat when we are hungry
We drink when we are thirsty.
We sleep when we are tired.
We get angry when we feel a threat or when something is taken from us,
We feel like fighting for what is important.
We are sad and greeve when we lose something or someone dear.
And there is our social need: physical contact, bonding, being together, making love, having sex. All part of the drive that is at the root of our survival of our species.
We are satisfied, content or complete, when things go the way we want them to go.
Being afraid when it gets too much: tells us to look around us, to run or to flee;
And being sad makes us seek comfort when someone dies or when something of value gets lost.
These feelings trigger ways of being and are powerful social signals. An in-born kompas.

These feelings emerge from within.
They help us take care of ourselves and the ones we love.

Nature, instinct: survival tools!
Only, in our day to day life, there aren`t so many situations that really have to do with survival.
Often there is no actual danger, or threat.
Only, in our day to day life, there aren`t so many situations that really have to do with survival.
Often there is no actual danger, or threat.
The threat is often just in our head.
And there's often a (old) story around it, that triggers a respons.
.
It may feel like a survival situation. Being angry or afraid may seem to emerge from within. Only in reality it may come from an invented story.

Another way of being could be a lot more productive or fun. If only we would be aware of the option to choose.
So, when do we let nature dictate our being?
And when do we choose, invent or create a being ourselves?
And what is often in the way?
Why does it feel that we are stuck in a way of being in some situations?
